If you or your loved ones cannot make the journey without help, AMN will provide you or your loved one with a personal travel companion to take care of the stressors associated with holiday travel. AMN will make all of your travel arrangements for you or your loved one. This includes transportation to and from the airport, booking and scheduling airline tickets, train transfers, luggage assistance and navigating the airport. Example: Your family is planning a Christmas Day get together at your home in Florida, Most of your family live close by and plan to attend, except your mother and father. They live in a small town in Canada and would love to make the trip. Your parents are in their mid eighties, they are hard of hearing, become overwhelmed easily and your father uses a walker to get around. You are not able to get time off from work and you have two children that need to be cared for and must plan for the Christmas get together. Your parents have not seen you or their grandkids in over three years and really want to spend Christmas with the family. You decide it will be too much trouble and plan to spend another year without seeing them.  AMN’s Home for the Holidays is just the service you need. We will send one of our companions to pick up your mother and father at their house, help them with their luggage, and assist both of them into the prearranged transportation. Once at the airport our companion will secure the boarding passes, navigate the airport to the proper terminal and gate. Our companion will assist your parents with the TSA security check point and then to the appropriate gate for boarding. We will assist them onto the aircraft and then into the proper seat assigned. If a scheduled layover is part of the flight itinerary, we navigate them to the proper gate for the additional flight leg. Once in sunny Florida we pick up their luggage, assist them into the arranged transportation and take them to your home, or wherever you have made arrangements for them to stay. Our staff and companion have virtually taken all the stressors of travel away from you and your loved ones, and now Christmas will be a true holiday celebration for the whole family. AMN will be available to offer the same service, if needed, whenever they or you decide for them to return back home. Our companions do not travel on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
